i think life has changed so much after working
a new phase, a new beginning
it's something i'm quite thankful and grateful for
in retrospect,
at age 16, we were working through o' levels and our boys-period, talking about how we would all find a better guy in JC
at age 17, although half of us belonged to different JCs, we still kept in touch and hung out together. and we all did found our boyfriends
at age 18, we were working through a' levels, getting all fussed over the boyfriends getting into army soon
at age 19, we were coping with the army stage, work-life and contemplating over our choices of universities and majors
at ages 20-21, we all had some upheavals with our emotional lives at some point or other, organizing and learning more about what we want and what we need. some stayed with theirs, others changed theirs, while the remaining...
at age 22, we are actually discussing about people around us getting married, guessing who among us has the highest probability of getting married, pregnancies and adoption! we talked about being each other's kids' god-parents and how our future outings would get merrier (with additional members crawling around and wailing loudly)
yes, the evolution of topics is quite evident. and soon, we'll be talking about grandchildren and which home we'll be staying
haha, okay i hope not. i hope we'll be staying in some bukit timah house instead of some old-fogie home.
and we still stuck with each other through the good and bad times. throughout adolescence and early adulthood
although the frequencies may be getting less and less, i'm still glad we hung out together and are working to keep in touch
these days, just hanging out with close friends is good enough for my social life
i'm feeling very content and blessed
for the future years and years to come.
