life has been really hectic, but fun, meaningful and interesting
long hours and late nights stuck in the office
what's left for my social life?
sorry i can't meet you tonight babe. in the end i left my office at 10.30pm.
thank god we didn't meet
i told you guys, you won't be seeing me until maybe next year
and the colleagues asked me whether i was christian and mentioned i got the "ang moh" look
like what's new.
but what made me feel so sucky was the next million-dollar question they asked
was i from convent schools?
cos they think i look like i'm from some st anthony school
like, totally put-off. seriously.
did i mention i harbour a general dislike for girls in single-sexed schools, esp for convent girls
thinking about them creates this sort of revulsion inside me
of cos i'm not talking about friends whom i know personally and who are from such schools
but it's the general impression about these convent girls that i totally dislike
like urgh. i so totally hate to be associated with them
and so i told my colleagues i was actually from 华校 since primary school
and they laughed hysterically at that fact!
is it that unbelievable???
i am proud of being brought up in chinese schools okay!
absolutely loyal to my roots! although i'm not proud of that fact that i'm unable to speak mandarin as fluently as before
*guilty laughs*
enough rants for today
i'm heading to bed
