i am suffering from temporary insomnia at 2 am on a sunday morning cos..
well, the parents are investigating a crime scene - and that's our kitchen
there's this weird, pungent, nauseous smell that's been lingering in our kitchen for the past couple of days
so they dug out everything under the kitchen basin to try to explore what's beneath it
when i stepped into the kitchen to get a glass of water, dad asked me to smell the basin and the trash area
and he solemnly declared "there may be a decomposing corpse in our pipes"
i was like "decomposing corpse???"
when you're half-dazed, it's really not funny to have someone scare you like that
you become alert immediately.
sometimes, i think dad has this secret obsession of scaring people, you know, just so he can get cheap thrills out of observing other people's frightened reactions
on the other hand, mum speculated that it was a decomposing rat
so i suggested to call for some pest busters
i mean, what are the odds of discovering a decomposing corpse at 2 am on a sunday morning???
then dad said it must have been the detergent, that the green tea fragrance of our detergent must have decomposed and caused that rancid stench
O.M.G.
it doesn't take a science degree for anybody to know that detergent fragrances don't decompose dad, nor had the manufacturers of detergents used rotten green tea leaves -_-

in anyway, that smelly smell is still vividly "etched" in my nose although i am now in my room
so resorted to spraying some eau de toilette
and, they found a dead lizard in the end
although i doubt that was the real reason behind that awful stench

okay, enough of early-morning dramas
i'm getting back to sleep
